My Favorite Show: House

Recently on the show House, one of the doctors killed himself—Cutner. Nothing appeared to be wrong with him in the previous episodes. In the previous episode, he was the one that find out what was wrong with the patient. He appeared to like helping Dr. House and his team when it came to helping patients. Within in the first fifteen minutes of the show Cutner had committed suicide. This was a devastating lost to the team and to Dr. House. House blamed himself for his death. He is a doctor he felt as if he should have seen the signs or symptoms that Cutner had. His death created turmoil between the other characters in the show. This episode created a lot of questions for me at the end of the show. Why didn’t House see the signs? What made Cutner feel like he had to kill himself? Why did House not go to the funeral? How could Cutner be so selfish as to take his own life and leave his friends alone? Why did his best-friend not go to his funeral? Why did House finally show feelings for someone he didn’t even seem to like? Was Cutner already dying before he killed himself? What if House is starting to change to become more sensitive?

  1. I haven't watched the episode YET, but I read that the guy who play Cutner had to leave the show in order to pursue other ventures. (Working for OBAMA)
I think I'd kill my character for that privilege.

  2. I have yet to see the episode but I did youtube the clip where he died. Pretty intense. It'd be crazy to walk in on your fellow employee and see them dead.

  3. Just like Ron and Oke, I haven't watched that episode just yet.
Honestly, I think it might hit home a little bit more than I can handle. This past September one of my aunts committed suicide.
Like Amber questioning the T.V show, those too were some of the questions I asked about my aunt's death. "WHY!?"
