I really do not have a favorite Atlanta restaurant, but if I had to choose one I would choose Red Lobster. This is simply because Red Lobster’s food looks just like how it is advertised on television. This is the perfect place for seafood lovers and for people who enjoy getting exactly what they pay for. The crabs are cooked to perfection and the steak, yes they serve steak, is always cooked the way you order it. Red Lobster is not over priced and you typically enjoy paying what you paid for the meal. This is because after eating here you will feel like you “have died and went to heaven”. When you first arrive there they give you these rolls. The rolls are filled with garlic and butter. The literally melt in your mouth. According to my grandmother they have the best glasses, that’s why she always manages to put one in her purse. Old people always find a way to justify their actions.
As a kid I liked going to Red Lobster because when you first come in you see the live crabs in a tank. I did not understand when I was young why they were there but I do now. It’s nice to know that when I order crabs they are always fresh. This is reassuring because when I go now at the age of 18 I know that I can always depend on the crabs if I cannot depend on nothing else. Everyone should eat at Red Lobster everyone once in a while not just for the food but to spend some quality time with loved ones.

Rainy Days Make Me Miss Soccer!!!
Rainy days remind me of playing soccer in high school. I was the captain of my soccer team and I miss my old teammates very much. My coach always told me “I played harder than the whole team”. This was evident because when we lost I felt like it was my fault even when I knew that it was not. I started every game on the Varsity team. The referees always said that I played to dirty or to rough. Inside I felt like this is not a sport for wimps so they should just suck it up. I loved playing soccer because it allowed me to relieve stress while having fun. Since I always put myself on the line for the team other teams were always determined to get me out of the game. So I got hurt a lot but I only got out of the game once. This was because I got kicked in my face and my nose was dislocated. I tried to suck it up and take one for the team but once my adrenaline did not kick it I started to panic. I could not breathe. I felt like my nose was off my face. So I passed out and then I woke up and my coach was like “Amber bite down”. He had to snap my nose back in place. This hurt a lot but it hurt even more that I was unable to get back in the game and help my team. This is just one of the injuries I received while playing soccer. I dislocated my jaw twice because I always rushed people or played to rough. I had one concussion and a dislocated shoulder. I had a slipped disc in my back and I had bruise ribs for a little while. When I tell people this they always ask why don’t you stop playing. I always say back, “That’s what I play for.” If I don’t get hurt in a game I feel like I did not give my team and the game my all. Soccer is not for weak people who don’t like getting dirty or getting hurt. If it rains or is too cold outside you still have to play. Soccer knows no limits and that is why I will never trade my cleats and shin guards for something that makes me someone else. I have played a lot of sports, softball (captain), cheer leading, track/field, basketball, and soccer is by far the best because you can get REVENGE.

The Power Of Media
Since technology is evolving everyday so is the ability to live someone’s life through what is portrayed with the use of video cameras. The power is now in the hands of anyone who is technology savvy, to create the news. Sometimes on the news they show clips of the event at hand from the view of an observer’s cell phone. News nowadays happens by chance—right place at the right time. Celebrities have it the worst because their lives are made public domain on a daily basis. Since news stations, TMZ, and Youtube accept anything people go to the extreme sometimes to get the hottest and newest news. People’s privacy is now null and void in some cases. People with cameras will try to capture celebrities every move and this for them has to suck. It is nice that people want to get involved with the news and keeping us informed. Their needs to be a line drawn on the actual footage that is accepted that makes it to the mainstream. If someone’s privacy is invaded the footage should be discarded. Everyone is not a reporter and this creates room for lawsuits. Since technology is so evolved people can alter the footage making things appear real that are not. This sometimes can cause people their careers and this is why everyone is not a reporter. The government needs to do something about the right of free press because this can cause defamation of character. They need to amend the amendment because invading privacy for free press should be unconstitutional

I'll Tell You My Dirty Little Secret
My initial reactions when I looked at the site were ones of enjoyment. I think it is pretty cool that people send and write these things because a lot of people actually think them. While reading some of the postcards I felt like I could have wrote them because I agreed with what they said. The images on the site effectively exude the things in which they represent. The images help ass inference to the words. People say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Some people feel that, “ a word is worth a thousand pictures”. The fact that the people who are responsible for making these postcards add them together is brilliant. Writing for some of the pictures is needed because people interpret things different so the people only give them what is needed for them to understand their point of view on the said secret. The words spoke more to me only because it made me focus on the picture to see the meaning they were conveying. If there were only the picture I would have developed my own meaning. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxum3M7qhd4zo_BzPa0cnGfRwAVTrcuaxtPJpRNeaNmG5u87STlYkuVnj61yVBngja5jLUK48zDcwVlAAwqts1xgRQmFhwPhg-IilEusHw0omPKwINl1o6AwrvgjJK_kEQdEKyx2p9NfVP/s1600-h/newmexico.jpg (This picture says that the person is not happy where they are now or even where they came from.)
